Baitul Huda Masjid is a vibrant Islamic center located in Evanston, IL. Our mission is to serve the Muslim community by providing a place for worship, education, and community engagement.

Zakat – Purify Your Wealth
Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a mandatory charitable contribution that purifies your wealth and helps those in need.
The Quran states: “And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah.” (2:110)
Sadaqah – Voluntary Charity
Sadaqah is a voluntary charitable act that can be given at any time and in any amount. It is a beautiful way to express gratitude to Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim)

Baitul Huda Masjid was established in 2010 to serve the growing Muslim community in Evanston, Illinois. What began as a small prayer space has grown into a vibrant Islamic center that serves hundreds of families in the area.
The name “Baitul Huda” means “House of Guidance” in Arabic, reflecting our commitment to providing spiritual and moral guidance to our community based on the teachings of Islam.
Over the years, we have expanded our facilities and services to meet the needs of our growing community. Today, Baitul Huda Masjid stands as a beacon of Islamic education, worship, and community service in the greater Chicago area.
Our Management Team

Imam Abdullah Khan
Imam & Religious Director
Imam Abdullah Khan has been serving as the Imam of Baitul Huda Masjid since 2015. He holds a degree in Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University and is known for his engaging khutbahs and deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence.

Fatima Ali
Education Director
Sister Fatima oversees all educational programs at Baitul Huda Masjid. With a background in education and Islamic studies, she has developed a comprehensive curriculum for students of all ages.

Dr. Ahmed Rahman
President
Dr. Rahman is a respected physician and community leader who has served as the President of Baitul Huda Masjid since 2018. Under his leadership, the masjid has expanded its programs and outreach efforts.

Yusuf Hassan
Youth Director
Brother Yusuf leads our youth programs and activities. His energy and creativity have made the youth program one of the most vibrant aspects of our community.
